We are offering two regular Joe's or Joline's a FREE all inclusive 12 month training package at the SCSC with the goal of competing in either a Striking, Grappling or Mixed rules competition. 

The people we want are those that have no or little previous experience in combat sports, regular Joes or Jolines that maybe have a couple of kids, work a 9 to 5 job and just want to try something new, get fit and challenge themselves in 2026.

We want to show that Combat Sports are not as scary as they look and neither are we! 

Here is the catch...... We want you to be open and vocal about your journey :)
Our goal is to work with you to document the process and show the community who YOU are, who WE are and how training is impacting on your life. The good the bad and the ugly.
So the people we want are open to having videos and interviews of themselves posted online both through our social media and your own :) and are keen to engage through this.

WHAT YOU GET

1. 12 months FREE ALL ACCESS MEMBERSHIP to the Selwyn Combat Sports Centre including BJJ, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Judo, MMA, Strength and Conditioning, 24/7 gym access and Recovery Centre.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

1. Be committed to the process
2. Attend trainings depending on age and fitness level this will likely start at 2-3 combat sports sessions a week and 1-2 gym sessions.
3. Help us with documenting your journey taking videos and photos and engaging positively in the documentation process.
4. Engage with the gym's community, bring your family into ours :)
5. Commit to competing during the process or at the end of the 12 months
6. Bring your personality whatever that may be

Ts and Cs
Open to all new adult members signing up for a membership from the 1st December.
Winners chosen by the 1st January.
All membership Ts and Cs apply.
Sponsorship will continue (max of 12 months) as long as actively participating in training. SCSC withholds the right to cancel the sponsorship for non-attendance, injury and non-engagement in the documentation process.
After the 12 months participants are welcome to sign up as regular members and pay fees.
